Note There is currently a dam being built near the Kelani River, which means that the free-flowing river ecosystem will switch to an artificial slack-water reservoir habitat; white water rafting will be offered at a set time and the rapids will not be the same. If you are thinking about going white water rafting, now is the best time. We live in a beautiful world, it's a shame that we are destroying it. Whenever you can, try spread awareness. As a collective, we can stop more dams from being built.
